Pastoral Intern Lindsay Bates - March 27, 2022

Wounded 4

Reflecting on the Parable of the Lost Sheep, Pastoral Intern Lindsay Bates discusses what happens when we put up barriers and exclude ourselves from others.

Scripture References: Luke 15:1-3, Luke 15:11b-32

From Series: "Wounded"

We’re all wounded. We’re wounded at different levels. We carry wounds that are deep and old. We carry wounds that are new and fresh. And we’re all quite adept at hiding those wounds, aren’t we? Our theme throughout the Lenten season is Wounded. Everything we do will be intended to help us recognize our wounds, have compassion for our wounds, and join as a community to address and heal our wounds. This is not easy work. But it's necessary and life-giving work. Will you join us?
